first check to see if your blackberry has an IT policy this can be done by these easy commands:

(1) go to option (rench sign) press ball or trace pad or enter button.
(2) scroll down to status (on OS 6.0 bold or torch go device/device and status) hit enter.
(3) enter this command on your key board    B U Y R  then IT policy will appear at bottom.
(4) scroll down at the bottom under IT policy it should be disable, if enable then IT policy is installed.
